bye bye 2005

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!
Last night was the last evening of 2005 and with many plans for the evening coming and going, everything from seeing Derrick Carter play at an exclusive invite only new years function, to a beach party run by psy-trance hippy types, Watching fire twirling in the streets of northbridge, a house party in freo and just spend the evening on the beach. as the evening panned out ... plans fell through... as they do .. but we saw Troy do his last fire twirl before he goes to singapore for 1-2 years for work. They put on a prety good show.(here he is doing a small show at my birthday)



so after exhausting all other avenues for the evening when we couldnt contact anyone about the house party ... the psy-trance doof moved to Jarrahdale... and well $200 for tickets for the up market party thet we were not in the mood for would of been a bad idea (even if tickets were still available) so we came home. made pizza, drank and after then after for no real reason Jo played "Birdhouse in my soul", the song that i always think of as "our song", the clock clicked midnight and i asked her to marry me she cried and said yes .. :) it topped of a rather ordinary evening..



No .. that isnt the real ring ... though it does look cool .. :) the real one is being made but due to the chrissmass holiday shut down it wont be ready till next week ... so i had to improvise. i think it did the job.
